The standard Orderwise integration gets you up and running with AGR quickly, powered by your Orderwise data. Two deployment modes are supported: OrderWise Cloud over the REST API, and OrderWise On-Premise over direct read access to the SQL Server database.
The standard mapping of OrderWise data into AGR is documented in the AGR Data Interface, so there is nothing to invent per customer. Customisations to the mapping can often be accommodated at a cost.
What that means:
The connection is pre-built and one directional to set up. Your team keeps working in the tools
they already know.
OrderWise Cloud over the REST API, or OrderWise On-Premise over direct read access to SQL Server.
The standard mapping is documented in the AGR Data Interface. Adjustments to the mapping can often be accommodated at a cost.
Data lands in AGR automatically, with incremental extraction where the Export Definitions support it.
Forecasts, safety stock and order proposals run on the synced data. Approved orders go back to OrderWise as real orders.
AGR reads your data through the OrderWise REST API using OrderWise Export Definitions: SQL-backed endpoints that return data in bulk. Some definitions carry a filter so extraction can run incrementally.
For a privately hosted OrderWise database, AGR reads directly from SQL Server. Because the database sits inside your network, a Microsoft Integration Runtime service is installed to bridge the connection.
Yes. AGR has a standard Orderwise connector covering both deployment modes: Orderwise Cloud through the Orderwise REST API, and Orderwise On-Premise through direct read access to the Orderwise SQL Server database.
The standard connector covers items, vendors, customers, locations, item-locations (SKU), sales history, stock levels, stock history, open sales orders, undelivered purchase orders, purchase order receipts, transfers, BOM components and consumption, committed demand, promotions and customer groups.
Through Orderwise Export Definitions — SQL-backed REST endpoints that return data in bulk. You provide REST API credentials for a user with API and read access, create the Export Definitions AGR supplies, and share the endpoint ID of each one so the connector can call them.
Because the database is privately hosted, a Microsoft Integration Runtime service is installed to reach it, and AGR is given read access to the live Orderwise SQL database.
Yes. The standard mapping of Orderwise data into AGR is documented in the AGR Data Interface, and customisations to that mapping can often be accommodated at a cost.
Approved purchase orders are written back so replenishment is executed in OrderWise. OrderWise stays the system of record for transactions; AGR is the planning layer on top.
Technical setup is usually days rather than months. Most customers have data flowing during the first week of onboarding — the longer part of any project is mapping the supply chain, not moving the data.
AGR runs on Microsoft Azure with encryption in transit and at rest, and each customer’s data in its own dedicated database. Administrative access uses Microsoft Entra ID with SSO and MFA.
