A demand planning and automated ordering layer for TVT’s wholesale, distribution and manufacturing customers, built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
Today, we’re announcing a partnership with TVT (Together Vision Technology, tvision.tech), a UK Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central specialist. TVT’s customers will get access to our forecasting, safety stock and automated ordering capabilities directly alongside their existing Business Central deployment.
“We’re proud to be partnering with TVT. They’ve built a genuine reputation over more than 25 years as a dedicated Business Central specialist, with a real commitment to staying with their customers long after go-live. That’s exactly the kind of partner we want standing behind the ERP, while we make sure their customers also get the inventory intelligence Business Central alone doesn’t provide.”
Duncan Gordon, Partner Enablement Director at AGR
We’ve seen many mid-market wholesalers, distributors and manufacturers treat an ERP implementation as the point where their inventory challenges get solved. In practice, Business Central and similar ERPs are built to record transactions, not to forecast demand or automate replenishment, which leaves purchasing teams relying on spreadsheets and manual review long after go-live.
We connect to Business Central to apply best-fit statistical forecasting per item and location, dynamically recalculate safety stock, and automate purchase order creation, with approved orders written back into the ERP automatically. The result is typically a meaningful reduction in stock holding alongside maintained or improved service levels.
Paul Wellingham, CEO at TVT, commented:
“At TVT, we believe customers benefit most when they have access to the right expertise for their specific requirements. AGR has a strong track record in inventory optimisation and demand planning, and we’re pleased to welcome them as a partner. By working together, we can help customers explore whether AGR is the right fit for their business alongside the solutions and services we already provide.”
This partnership is aimed at Business Central users in wholesale, distribution and manufacturing, as well as the drinks and beverage trade, where TVT already has deep implementation experience through Bevica, its specialist vertical solution for beverage companies.
Together with TVT, we’re giving Business Central users a way to extend the value of their ERP investment with dedicated inventory optimisation and demand planning, without a separate implementation project or a change to how they already work with TVT.
